The story

Simone Marie Designs was sparked by stepping foot into a clay makers paradise. A small locally owned business in Carson City, Nevada called Charlie B Gallery. Where a clay maker, Charlie, had created his own oasis of artwork collected from all over the world. He told me "If I die broke at least I am doing what I love." His passion for his work truly made an impact on me. It was the instant heart warming "this man LOVES what he does" feeling. I wanted to feel the same exact way. That is why I went home, bought an assortment of colors in polymer clay, and started playing with new designs in my kitchen. A desert storm was my second collection, first being a nautical theme that didn't turn out as planned. It's all about the trial and errors in everything, right?
